At least 35 Palestinians have been killed in fresh Israeli attacks across Gaza, according to hospital sources cited by Al Jazeera. Many of the casualties occurred when Israeli forces once again targeted people waiting for food aid. Hospitals across the enclave are struggling to cope with the injured.

Hamas Says It’s Ready for Ceasefire Talks

Islamic Jihad Demands Guarantees

The announcement comes ahead of a Monday visit to Washington by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. There, he is expected to meet with President Donald Trump, who is pressing for a resolution to the conflict, now in its 21st month.

At the same time, al-Ahli Hospital in Gaza City has confirmed that one person was killed and several others injured in an Israeli strike on the Zeitoun neighbourhood.

Updated Death Toll

The Gaza Health Ministry now reports that 57,268 Palestinians have been killed, and 135,625 wounded since the war began. During the October 7, 2023 attacks in Israel, 1,139 people were killed and more than 200 taken captive.
