At least 33 aid seekers are among the 73 Palestinians killed in Gaza since dawn, according to medical sources speaking to Al Jazeera. Witnesses have described the event as a “horror scene”, resulting from “unprovoked gunfire” at the US and Israeli-backed Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) aid distribution site.
Massacres in the Last 48 Hours
The Gaza Government Media Office reports that more than 300 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli forces over the past 48 hours, claiming that 26 massacres have occurred during that period.

Trump’s Ceasefire Proposal
Meanwhile, Hamas officials say they are reviewing new proposals for a temporary ceasefire in Gaza. The development follows US President Donald Trump’s announcement that Israel has agreed to a 60-day truce proposal.
Overall Death Toll in Gaza
According to the Gaza Health Ministry, Israel’s war on Gaza has now killed at least 57,012 people and injured over 134,592 others. The toll continues to rise amid ongoing bombings and military operations.
In comparison, during the October 7 attacks, an estimated 1,139 people were killed in Israel, with more than 200 individuals taken captive, according to official sources.
